Eat, drink and crank up the merry!

With the holidays approaching at the speed of lightning and everyone doing their last minute running around, your business should be booming.  When advertising on Social Media, people want to feel that they are part of the family.  Don’t be afraid to snap photos of your holiday décor, people will love it.  What about that special menu you have? Take pictures of the food! It is known that people eat with their eyes first so the more photos, the better.

Christmas is just a little over a week away.  Are you going to be open? Do you have a special menu? Are you taking reservations only? These are major things your customers want and need to know.

How about celebrations?  Are you having an ‘Ugly Sweater Contest'? People love quirkiness, all you need to do is get the word out.  OH WHAT FUN! This is a great opportunity to have some drink specials, maybe give out some prizes, and not to mention – see your customers dressed to the nine in nerdiness.

No matter what you have planned, our marketing team is here to help you with all your needs for the events.  Just give us the details and we’ll get to work! Just call us Santa’s little helpers…

Top 10 Ways To Promote Your Business This Holiday Season

Every holiday season we all seem to become so busy that we forget the little ways to market our business.  Marketing your business during the holiday season is the best way to make extra money with the least amount of work.  Think about it...Normally you have to plan and be very creative in the slow season to help with getting customers in the door.  However, during the holidays people are looking and you just need to remind them where they can find what they are looking for. Below are some great ideas on how to increase your income this holiday season without too much hassle.
1. Family Holiday Dinner
Get into the spirit!  Many people are looking for places to go that will help accentuate their holiday spirit.  Frozen Hot Chocolate, S'mores, Christmas Ham, Champagne, Mashed Potatoes and the list could go on!  Offer a weekly family dinner on Sundays (or your slowest day of the week).  This will be where you invite your social media and email followers to come in with their family and enjoy a family Christmas dinner off a prixe fixed menu.
2. Private Parties
Now is the time of year people are looking for places to throw their celebrations.  Make sure you get that information on to your website and send out a 10% off your next party of 20 people or more to your mailing list.  Even if only two people reply that is still two more parties than you would have had and about an extra $400-700 in your monthly revenue.

3. Themed Restaurant Parties
Invite your customers in for a special party night; Some themes could be Ugly Sweater Party, Breakfast with Santa, Christmas Holiday Party, etc.  You send out a special invite to your mailing list customer for a prixe fixed menu or discounted drinks for 'being a part of the family'.
4. Gift Card Sales
Encourage guests to wrap up their holiday shopping early with gift cards. Or, tie up some loose ends by getting a gift card for a stocking stuffer.  Run a promotion to help entice them, "Buy $100, Get $20 for Yourself".

5. Holiday experience for two
Combine your business with another local vendor!  Combine two different experiences together for a cheaper price.  Dinner and a show, tailgate and take-out, etc.  There are so many options, and given your location your idea will be very unique compared to other restaurants around you.
6. Party Catering
Everyone is having a party this season, but not everyone has the money to rent space.  So they have it at home where they can enjoy their friends' company without the added expense.  Offer your customers a hassle-free party by ordering the party-to-go.  Party platters and/or specials should be represented through emails, social posts and in store.

7. We'll Handle The Sides
You may have customers who want to cook their own meat but don't have time, room or patience to make the sides.  Maybe you just make them better... who knows!?  Let your customers know they can order the traditional holiday sides from you to lighten their load.  They'll thank you later!

8. Holiday Hours
Let people know!  People won't know if you are open or closed if you don't let them know.  If you are closed send out a nice email wishing your customers a Happy Holiday.  If you are open let them know so they have you if they end up burning the holiday ham.
9. Thank Your Customers
Discounts and giveaways, although nice, can be costly.  Don't feel like giving anything away?  Just send your followers a simple reminder thanking them for their patronage and wishing them a happy holiday season.  This goes a long way!

10. Increase Email List Opportunity
Building your mailing list is critical!  Anyone who dines-in, takes-out, orders online, buys a gift card or has you cater their party should be giving you their email address.  This will help increase repeat traffic and promote customer loyalty.
