Why Your Online Presence Matters

In this digital age, having a website makes a world of difference in gaining clientele. Keep and gain your clientele by incorporating different social media platforms on your website. It is no longer enough to just create a website. Engage your guests by making it as interactive as possible. Allow them to explore your restaurant virtually.

This can be done in a few ways:
Mailing List
Creating a mailing list is a great way to reach your guests. It gives them a chance to receive updates and promotions that will encourage them to want to visit your restaurant more. It shows that you are taking an interest in reaching out to them, which is always important.

Facebook
Facebook is huge.  A simple post can reach thousands of potential clients, even though it may not seem that way. Target your demographic in your own way through text, pictures or fun quotes. This is a fun way to get your clients involved because they are able to browse and see what you're up to on their own time. They can comment, like and share your posts and pictures as well which in turn will show up in their friends' News Feeds.

Review Sites
This is a great way to show off just how great you are! Showcase and highlight positive reviews on your website. Give your guests a spot to leave a comment about their experience. Make sure there are sections for their names and dates. If you feature a guest review, they will feel appreciated that you took the time to showcase their experience with you. It shows concern and consideration for how you treat your guests.

Online Reservations
A simple yet effective way to get people in the door that much faster. Utilizing applications such as OpenTable on your website is a great way to give guests the option of convenience, which is important. It also allows you to keep your phone lines clearer. Using OpenTable is great because members can gain “points” for dining. When restaurants offer this option, it gives you more of an opportunity to fill more seats.  Although Ordereze currently does not offer Online Reservations as a part of our company, here are five major third parties we could suggest you look into!

You don’t want to have the best restaurant that no one has ever heard of…

Social media grows every day, the one thing we have noticed in the marketing world is restaurant owners and chefs are growing just as fast. Creativity is key for both social media and restaurants! So what’s the catch you ask?  Social media will always top you. It is just a matter pairing the two together like an epic meal!

Think back, when is the last time you typed in www. anything aside from Google. It is almost like direct traffic no longer exists! Direct Traffic is internet traffic from people typing in the URL or an email campaign. Now email campaigns are very effective; but really who types out URL’s anymore? It’s all about convenience and even one more extra letter is an inconvenience.

Social media is a fast paced environment that can spread your brand with just a click. Photos are able to be linked to other people’s profiles and even other social websites. Regardless your type of restaurant it is important that chefs now create photogenic meals to build an even better following. Hashtags provide a quick and easy way to be found on the internet with just a basic search. The ever so creepy invention is actually quite genius. These little pound signs are now used internationally on all social media sites as a basic search engine. This capability is a great way promote events, share photos, spark conversation, start a contest, really just about anything. The bigger you think the bigger the trend.

At this point in society being a business and being on social media is crucial to build your brand. Your customers are sharing your awesome meals and drinks and specials on sites like Google+, Twitter and Facebook. There could be a whole world and following of people who just may be obsessed with you and waiting for your next big thing! Let us help open your eyes to this world. Market with us and learn more!
